Brooklyn Rowhouse — Fire Damage Restoration

Following a significant kitchen fire that spread to the second floor, this three-story Bed-Stuy rowhouse required complete structural assessment and rebuilding of the affected areas. BD Construction worked directly with the homeowner’s insurance adjuster to scope and execute the full restoration.

• Emergency board-up and site securing
• Full demolition of fire and smoke-damaged structure
• Structural assessment and framing repair — floors and walls
• New electrical wiring and panel (full kitchen and second floor)
• Plumbing repair and replacement
• Insulation and drywall throughout affected areas
• New kitchen installation — cabinets, countertops, appliances
• Hardwood floor repair and refinishing
• Interior painting and finish carpentry
• Smoke and odor remediation throughout building

The homeowners were back in their home within 90 days. BD Construction managed all communication with the insurance company and city inspectors throughout the project.
